Michael Faraday was the son of an English blacksmith.He started work as a book binder,but read many of the science books he had to bind as part of his work.He began experimenting in his spare time and eventually invented the first electric motor. He also discover that when a magnet is pushed into and out of a coil of wire, it generates an electric current in the coil.Modern electrical generators, even those in power stations, all make use of Faraday's discovery...

You know that electricity can be used to make magnets. The opposite is also true.Magnets can be used to produce or generate,electricity !
